Schimenti Construction partnered with Palm Angels to create the latest boutique for the Italian luxury streetwear brand at Belmont Park Village. Spanning 1,540 square feet, the store combines high-end design with premium craftsmanship, featuring Italian millwork and finishes that reflect Palm Angels’ bold and modern aesthetic. Designed by TPG Architecture, the project delivered a sophisticated shopping experience in a vibrant retail destination.
Originally planned as a seven-week build, the project timeline was extended to 12 weeks due to external factors and coordination complexities. Despite the delays, Schimenti maintained focus on ensuring the project met the brand’s high standards and aligned with the broader vision for the Village.
The build presented unique challenges, including coordinating with an Italy-based client team operating in a different time zone, as well as integrating late-stage design updates and vendor installations. Additionally, as one of the first stores to open in the Village, the project set the standard for future builds, serving as a test case for the retail development.
Schimenti overcame these hurdles through consistent communication, proactive follow-ups, and strong collaboration with the architect of record. Schimenti’s expertise bridged communication gaps between the client, landlord, and regulatory bodies, ensuring a smooth path to completion. The result is a retail space that embodies Palm Angels’ distinct brand identity while elevating the shopping experience for visitors to the Village.
