Schimenti Construction delivered a 4,500 SF retail buildout for Alo Yoga at MarketStreet Lynnfield, just north of Boston. The project transformed a former restaurant into a fully renovated, modern storefront aligned with the brand’s design standards. Interior work included full demolition, new partitions, MEP systems, millwork, rooftop equipment, and high-end finishes. On the exterior, Schimenti modified the existing façade, installing new entry doors, aluminum panels, and micro-cement accent walls featuring recessed Alo branding. The new storefront also included a pergola, custom planters, and curated outdoor furniture.

The project marked a continued partnership with the same design team behind Alo’s Westport location, and was completed on schedule in 18 weeks. However, the build was not without challenges. When exterior façade changes were finalized with less than a month remaining, the team worked extended shifts, seven days a week, to maintain the store’s scheduled opening. A value engineering and design-assist approach was critical in streamlining approvals, expediting fabrication, and keeping the final weeks on track.

Though the final push involved down-to-the-wire installations completed the morning of opening, the project team hit every commitment. The result is a sleek, high-end retail environment that mirrors Alo’s elevated brand identity while enhancing the MarketStreet shopping experience.
