It's an energy and dedication that permeates our entire company that's visible through the relationships we build and the initiatives that support the community.
Schimenti Spirit
When underserved kids in East Harlem needed a space to express themselves artistically, we worked with the Good Tidings Foundation and the LeRoy Neiman and Janet Byrne Neiman Foundation to build the LeRoy Nieman Art Studio.
Schimenti Construction has also partnered with Target Corporation and The Heart of America Foundation to remake three New York City elementary school libraries over the last several years. We are pleased to have been a part of the project, creating vibrant, well-supplied learning environments that encourage all children to become better readers and learners.
Our team’s life-changing work has made a real difference by working with Habitat for Humanity and providing a stable home for Alvin Thomas, a U.S. Army Veteran and his family. In August of 2017, Schimenti employees put their hands and hearts to work, they not only made a house, they built a home.
Schimenti Construction actively raises money for Catch a Lift, a fund that is dedicated to helping thousands of post 9/11 combat wounded veterans regain their mental and physical health through gym memberships, in home gym equipment, personalized fitness and nutrition programs and a peer support network.
