Schimenti Construction delivered a new Alo Yoga location at American Dream, bringing the luxury athleisure brand to one of the country’s largest retail destinations.

The space reflects Alo’s signature aesthetic through custom millwork and high-end finishes, requiring precise coordination with the brand’s vendors to achieve the desired level of detail. A major focus was ensuring the display fixtures met Alo’s expectations, an effort that required close collaboration throughout construction.

One of the project’s biggest challenges involved navigating the demands of the New Jersey DCA inspection process. With Alo undergoing this process for the first time, Schimenti played a hands-on role in guiding the client through permitting and approvals to ensure a smooth closeout. In addition to weekly OAC meetings, communication with Alo continued to be ongoing to proactively address next steps and maintain progress at every phase.
