Schimenti Construction partnered with British menswear brand Charles Tyrwhitt to deliver its newest U.S. flagship on Madison Avenue in Midtown Manhattan. Designed to elevate the in-store experience, the 3,500 SF space includes 2,450 SF of retail space and features expanded fitting rooms, a comfortable “dwelling area” for customer relaxation, and twin red London telephone booths flanking the entrance—a nod to the brand’s heritage. The build reinforces Charles Tyrwhitt’s continued investment in the New York market, just steps from its original U.S. store, which opened over 20 years ago.

The scope included a complete interior fit-out with new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and sprinkler systems, as well as upgraded finishes and storefront modifications. Although the signage package was claimed after project award, it was successfully coordinated and integrated without impacting the schedule. When faced with lead-time constraints on flooring materials, the team sourced strategic substitutions and maintained efficiency within the compact site footprint.

Consistent communication with the Charles Tyrwhitt team helped ensure smooth execution from start to finish. The result is a polished, modern retail space that blends British heritage and contemporary design, delivered on time and aligned with the brand’s vision.
