Luxottica is a prominent industry leader specializing in the design, manufacturing, and distribution of premium, luxury, sports, and performance eyewear. In 2020, the company relocated to the esteemed 5th Avenue in New York City, boasting a reception area that offers a stunning panoramic view of the iconic Empire State Building.

The project, encompassing a total area of 42,000 square feet spread over three floors, features a remarkable staircase clad in burnished brass and adorned with Caliza Capri stone sourced from Europe. Schimenti was tasked with the comprehensive fit-out of this luminous space, which includes over 300 workstations featuring windows elegantly wrapped in burnished brass sheets.

Additionally, each floor has its own pantry and conference rooms. Despite the challenges posed by the pandemic, Schimenti skillfully led a collaborative effort, liaising with manufacturers, designers, and engineers based in Italy to bring this project to completion.
