Schimenti Construction completed a gut renovation and expansion of a Visual Comfort & Co. showroom in Greenwich, Connecticut, transforming the space into a 3,724 SF high-end retail environment. The project combined the existing storefront with an adjacent tenant space, creating an open, cohesive layout that showcases the brand’s lighting collections. Delivered over a 19-week schedule, the build reflects a refined showroom experience centered around custom millwork and curated product displays.

A key feature of the project was the Light Lab, a focal point of the store that required precise coordination across trades to execute complex lighting and millwork integration. Schimenti’s self-perform carpentry team worked closely with electrical partners to deliver the intricate detailing required for the space, ensuring alignment with the design intent and elevating the overall quality of the installation.

Consistent communication through weekly meetings, design coordination sessions, and real-time documentation supported a smooth execution from start to finish. The result is a polished, design-forward showroom that highlights Visual Comfort’s product in a clean, elevated environment.
