Schimenti is proud to announce that Emily Worth has been recognized as one of the 2024 Rising Stars by the Construction Financial Management Association (CFMA). This accolade highlights young professionals under 40 who significantly impact the construction industry and their respective companies. CFMA’s Rising Stars Program recognizes individuals who have introduced innovative solutions, spearheaded transformative projects or made significant contributions to CFMA. Over 100 nominations were submitted this year, and Emily was chosen as one of the elite 23 selected by CFMA volunteer leaders and last year’s honorees.
Emily’s involvement with CFMA since June 2019 has been marked by active participation in annual conferences and exhibitions, membership in a Peer Group since 2023, and the completion of CFMA’s Emerging Leaders Program in 2024. She regularly attends webinars and certificate programs to further her continuing education, demonstrating her commitment to professional growth and industry engagement.
At Schimenti, Emily stands out for her exceptional contributions, positivity, commitment to accuracy, and eagerness to learn and teach others. As Assistant Controller, she prepares month-end and internal financials, collaborates with the CFO and external accountant on monthly reports, and assists auditors with the year-end audit. Emily supports Project Accountants and Accounts Payable, and conducts project analysis, including gross profit and performance reviews. Additionally, she aids Business Development with forecasting tools, provides Procore Financials training, handles budget coding, reports for the Self Perform team, and analyzes marketing budgets and expenses. Throughout her tenure, Emily has consistently delivered high service levels and continues to build upon her impressive foundation.
