Schimenti Construction completed the interior renovation of AMC UTC 14 movie theater, a 35,089-square-foot project focused on enhancing the guest experience through modern amenities and updated technology. The scope included reseating and refurbishing fourteen existing auditoriums and upgrading public spaces and common areas.

Key improvements included the installation of new heated leather recliner seating, the addition of a Dolby auditorium, and refreshed concession and ticketing areas featuring new digital screens. Schimenti also built a new lobby bar with table seating, offering an elevated experience for moviegoers.

While the project encountered early delays tied to the start date and final close-out documentation, steady communication between Schimenti’s internal team, subcontractors, and the client helped maintain momentum and ensure a smooth delivery.

The project was completed in just over 10 months. Through close coordination and strong client engagement, AMC UTC 14 now provides a modern, comfortable, and premium theater environment in a prominent location.
