Schimenti Construction completed the 35,000 SF buildout of a new Primark store at Grapevine Mills Mall in Grapevine, Texas. The large-format retail location marks the firm’s first Primark project in the state and continues a trusted relationship with the brand dating back to 2017.

The scope included structural modifications, floor slab remediation, full MEP installations, and the integration of Primark-branded finishes in line with the retailer’s national rollout standards. Project challenges included navigating local utility coordination, establishing a qualified subcontractor base in a new regional market, and managing logistics for overseas material deliveries. Additional complexities were introduced by floor remediation requirements and mall-driven scheduling constraints around utility tie-ins and shutdowns.

Despite these challenges, the project achieved substantial completion within the planned 20-week schedule. The store opened in December 2025, reinforcing Primark’s continued U.S. expansion with a full-scale retail offering in one of the biggest Malls in Texas.
