Schimenti Construction partnered with JPMorgan Chase to deliver a new ground-up banking center in Cheshire, CT. Located within The Shops at Stone Bridge, a new mixed-use development, the 3,319 SF branch expands the bank’s presence in New Haven County and marks its second location in the Cheshire community.

Completed over 23 weeks, the project included construction of the building shell and full interior fit-out, along with new mechanical, electrical, plumbing, telecommunications, security, AV, and banking systems. Exterior work included sidewalks, curbs, ramps, landscaping, parking areas, signage, and a drive-up canopy. The branch also features two ATMs, including a drive-up ATM, providing customers with additional banking access outside the branch.

Sustainability was incorporated throughout the build, with the project pursuing LEED and Zero Carbon certifications. A rooftop photovoltaic solar system was installed as part of the branch’s energy strategy, requiring coordination between the construction and sustainability teams to meet certification requirements and documentation standards. The completed ground-up branch combines the bank’s latest design standards with modern banking services and energy-conscious building features.
