Schimenti Construction completed a new 5,300 SF Chick-fil-A restaurant in East Springfield, Massachusetts. The project was one of three ground-up builds delivered as part of a larger development that also included new locations for Target and Chase, requiring careful coordination across multiple active sites.

Completed over 24 weeks, the project generally followed the brand’s standard prototype but presented several logistical and scheduling challenges. Prefabricated exterior wall panels required precise field adjustments, and early subcontractor delays put pressure on the schedule. The team responded by implementing overtime and weekend work hours, ensuring the restaurant opened as planned in early 2025.

Schimenti has partnered with Chick-fil-A on locations across multiple states since 2013, bringing a solid understanding of the brand’s expectations to each new build. This project marked the team’s first Massachusetts-based Chick-fil-A since 2018, reinforcing a collaborative relationship built on consistency, adaptability, and strong field execution.
