Prosek Partners, an integrated marketing and communications firm for the financial, professional services, technology, and healthcare sectors, embarked on a significant project to transform its newly leased 34,000 SF space at 28EAST28th into its new headquarters. This project was undertaken by Schimenti on behalf of the landlord, George Comfort & Sons, and designed by MKDA & Andre Kikoski Architecture.

The project involved a complete interior fit-out for Prosek, with custom millwork and custom finishes imported from Italy, creating a unique and tailored space. The project also required a complete redesign from the original turn-key landlord fit-out.

Challenges encountered during the project included the need for a redesign after mobilizing and beginning construction. This required close collaboration with all stakeholders, including the Architect of Record (AOR) and the designing architect. Managing material lead times, especially for custom finishes from Italy, was another challenge that required meticulous planning and coordination.

The AOR and design architect were crucial in streamlining the redesign process while adhering to the project timeline. Schimenti Construction addressed these challenges through collaboration with all stakeholders, ensuring the project stayed on track and met the client’s vision. The result creates a productive workspace conducive to fun and engaging collaboration.
