Schimenti Construction partnered with Walmart to transform Store 1831 in Liverpool, NY, through an interior remodel and a 4,500-square-foot expansion. Spanning 18 weeks, the project included remodeling various store areas, including restrooms, pharmacy, vision center, and grocery sections, all designed to enhance functionality and the customer shopping experience.

Early into construction, Schimenti was tasked with supplying the structural steel for the expansion—a change in scope that introduced challenges and initial delays. Schimenti’s team collaborated with trade partners who worked overtime and weekends to accelerate progress and regain lost time. Despite the adjustment, the project maintained momentum and moved forward swiftly.
