We are pleased to announce that two Schimenti-built projects earned Construction Excellence Awards from Associated Builders and Contractors (ABC) Empire State. Our Timberland SoHo project earned us a win in the Commercial Under $5 Million category, while our Hall des Lumières project received an award for the Historic Renovation category. Sage + Sound also received a Runner-up Award for Commercial Under $5 Million.
Hall des Lumières is a 40,000 sq ft public art center housed in the historic former Emigrant Industrial Savings Bank, offering the largest digital art experience in the US and providing visitors and locals with an immersive, multi-sensory creative outlet.
Timberland SoHo, the brand’s flagship destination in the heart of NYC, pays homage to Timberland’s history while driving forward a solid phy-gital retail presence, blurring the lines of a physical and digital storefront.
The ABC Empire State Chapter held its annual Construction Excellence Awards gala at the historic Otesaga Hotel in Cooperstown, New York. This year, the Association handed out more than 20 awards that covered projects across the state. Those projects totaled more than $2B in construction value with the smallest project being just under $100,000 and the largest at over $400M. Thank you to ABC Empire State for recognizing our excellence in construction, and congratulations to the other award recipients.
