Schimenti is proud to announce that our Brooklyn Paramount Theater project was featured in the May issue of the New York Real Estate Journal as part of its Developing Brooklyn Spotlight.
Originally opened in the 1920s, the Brooklyn Paramount was once home to legendary performances by artists like Ella Fitzgerald, Duke Ellington, and The Supremes. Nearly a century later, Schimenti partnered with Live Nation to restore and redevelop the historic venue into a modern, high-performance entertainment space while honoring its architectural legacy.
The 72,000 SF project spanned eight levels and included intricate plaster ceiling restorations, modern structural upgrades, extensive finish work, and the installation of a new marquee inspired by the original. By blending preservation with innovation, the project brings new life to a landmark destination and reaffirms Schimenti’s growing expertise in the entertainment and hospitality sectors.
Thank you to NYREJ for the feature and our project partners and teams who brought this incredible restoration to life.
