Schimenti is proud to share that PUMA 48 Club has been named the Retail Experience of the Year at the Retail Design Institute’s 54th International Design Competition. The project also received Outstanding Merit Awards for Storytelling & Brand Communication, as well as Brand Immersion, recognizing its innovative approach to experiential retail.
The PUMA 48 Club is located inside of PUMA’s second-ever North American flagship, located on the Las Vegas Strip. Blending technology, art, and fashion, the three-level space reimagines the shopping experience through a hidden speakeasy concept featuring exclusive Las Vegas-branded gear, a virtual reality arcade, professional F1 simulators, and a 40-foot LED Puma Cat logo that illuminates the façade. Delivering this project on one of the world’s most iconic retail corridors required precise planning and coordination to achieve a seamless result that reflects the energy of its surroundings.
This recognition reflects Schimenti’s commitment to delivering high-quality spaces that support exceptional design and brand storytelling. Several other Schimenti-built projects were also honored, including Brooklyn Paramount Theater in New York, which earned an Outstanding Merit Award for Historical Restoration; A Bathing Ape (BAPE) in East Rutherford, recognized for Retail Design; and SKIMS NYC Flagship, which received Outstanding Merit Awards for Storytelling & Brand Communication and Visual Merchandising & Display.
