• Chick-fil-A selected Schimenti to build out their highly-anticipated 42nd Street restaurant. The most challenging facet of the project’s scope was electrical work and vertical transportation of mechanical systems – which include a grease exhaust on the 30th floor. With Grand Central experiencing some of the densest foot-traffic in the world, Schimenti collaborated with project partners to devise a precise schedule for large-scale deliveries and installations. The franchise anticipate that the Grand Central address will be their busiest restaurant in the nation.

  • “The obvious challenge here was location. It’s estimated that approximately 700,000 people pass through Grand Central each day. Chick-fil-A’s unique and sizeable equipment had to be seamlessly transported and installed in this extremely busy and compact locale.”
