Sephora, the renowned French multinational personal care and beauty retailer, unveiled a new 4,648 SF location at Merrick Commons in Merrick, NY. Schimenti seamlessly managed construction, overseeing demolition and full build-out of the retail space.

This location showcases Sephora’s complete product line, complemented by an exclusive beauty studio dedicated to cosmetic services. The back of the house contains office space, an employee lounge, and a spacious stockroom.

During the project, a challenge arose when coordinating with the landlord and Sephora. A rooftop unit (RTU) delivery delay briefly paused the project before finishing the HVAC and fire alarm work. Schimenti worked closely with all parties to complete the project swiftly and successfully within 18 weeks.
